Information We Collect

• Google Account Information: When you sign in using Google, we receive your name, email address, and a unique user ID. This information is used to create and manage your account within the app.
• Sitter Contact Info: You may enter babysitters’ names and phone numbers to help manage booking requests. This information is stored securely and used only to support app functionality.

How We Use Your Information

• To authenticate and manage your account
• To allow you to store, view, and message your selected babysitters
• To support core app features like booking creation and message generation

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for advertising purposes.

Your data is stored using Supabase, a secure backend service. We may share data only as required to operate core features (e.g. sending SMS messages through your device).

Third-Party Services

SitterBuddy uses the following third-party services:

• Google Sign-In: For secure user authentication.
• Supabase: For backend data storage and retrieval.
• SMS Messaging: The app opens your device’s SMS app with a pre-filled message that you can review and send manually.

Data Retention

We retain your account data and sitter information for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us at jonathan.mazin@gmail.com.

Children’s Privacy

SitterBuddy is intended for use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
